No two dancers’ bodies are the same.

The secret to students working at their full potential is in individual assessment of specific key areas. We devise a careful prescription of individualised exercises, stretches and mobilising techniques to practise alongside regular classes. These exercises help to correct core issues over time that allows our students to perform at their full potential.

Young dancers are taught how to work with their own bodies using pilates, PBT and Lisa Howell’s techniques. These techniques complement elite dance training, helping the dancer work safely into the required positions.

The Pilates Boutique will devise a programme for the young dancer to work on at home. The student decides how often to come into The Pilates Boutique, be that once a week, every two weeks, once a month, once a term or in the school holidays. Programmes are specific to each individual dancer.

The aim of ‘ballet technique’ with the Pilates Boutique is to be results driven.
