We know that trying something new can feel a little daunting, so we’ve put together answers to some of the questions we hear most often. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We ask you to book into our Complimentary Reformer Induction class to learn how to set up your Reformer, safety using the Reformer, practice some basic exercises in preparation for joining our Essential class.
We ask you to attend an Induction class even if you have a good base level of fitness because learning how to use the Reformer is essential for your safety and being able to confidently join a group class.

No, booking ahead online is essential for us to prepare our class for you and to ensure there is a Reformer available for you.
We will contact you via email or text to inform you and you will be fully refunded.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Group classes are rescheduled or cancelled by logging into your account at least 24-hours in advance to avoid forfeiting your class fee.
Private classes: please email at least 24 hours prior otherwise full charge will be made.
If you are new to the Reformer, please book our Complimentary Reformer Induction before booking into our Essential class. If you are experienced with Pilates Reformer but new to our studio, please book an Essential class first and then after class, we will advise you which class to progress with.
If you are nervous or have a serious joint pathology or injury please contact Lisa at Lisa@pilatesboutique.co.uk for a private class to build your confidence and we can advise you how to proceed.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, no zips. Please consider your modesty when wearing loose shorts. Please wear socks and if you attend regularly preferably Grip socks.
Parking can be congested right outside the studio but there is plenty of on street parking on Hailsham Rd heading away from the studio towards Horam.
Please book a private class so your teacher can tailor exercises safely and recommend which group class would be suitable for you to attend.
We do not take on new clients who are pregnant, but we look forward to working with you on your post-natal journey once you have had your baby and been cleared at your 8-week check. Existing clients we will work with on a case-by-case basis once cleared by a health care professional.
Clients must be at least 18 years old.
