A Private Session Built Around You
Private training at The Pilates Boutique is a one-to-one session with Lisa, giving you time and attention that’s hard to match in a group environment. You can choose to book a private session as your induction instead of attending the complimentary group induction, which is ideal if you would rather start in a more personal setting.
It’s a simple, supportive way to begin if you’re new to the Reformer, and it’s equally valuable if you want more detailed coaching as you progress. Because the session is one hour and fully focused on you, it’s ideal for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals properly, refine technique, and build a consistent practice that supports everyday movement.
Who Private Training Is For
Private training is well-suited to anyone who feels more comfortable starting in a one-to-one environment. This includes clients who experience anxiety, body confidence concerns, mobility issues, or who feel unsure about exercising in a group. Some people worry about embarrassing themselves or not keeping up, and private sessions offer a calm, pressure-free space to build confidence and explore whether Reformer Pilates is right for them.
If you have done your complimentary 30-minute Reformer induction and feel you would benefit from more guidance before joining group classes, private training gives you space to slow things down and understand how the Reformer works in practice. It’s also a strong option if you already attend classes and want a dedicated session to focus on form, control, and getting the most from each exercise.
Private training is also suitable for those recovering from knee or hip replacements, or managing other joint conditions. After completing physiotherapy rehabilitation, these sessions provide bespoke coaching to help strengthen the body, improve joint mobility, and build stability in a safe and controlled way.
The Pilates Boutique welcomes a wide range of clients, and the overall approach is built around helping people move better, feel better, and support an active life.
What Happens In A Private Session?
Your private training session is a one-hour, one-to-one Reformer Pilates class with Lisa. In that time, you can expect clear instruction and hands-on coaching to help you understand set-up, feel confident on the equipment, and build strong movement habits.
Sessions may include work on the Reformer, Tower, and Split Pedal Stability Chair, depending on your needs and goals. Whether you are new, returning after injury, or looking to progress your practice, everything is tailored to you.
Depending on where you are in your Pilates journey, your session may focus on learning the foundations, improving control and alignment, or progressing your practice in a way that feels challenging but manageable.
